16 By whom all the body being coupled and knit together by every joint, for the furniture thereof (according to the [a]effectual power, which is in the measure of every part) receiveth [b]increase of the body, unto the edifying of itself in [c]love.
17 [d]This I say therefore and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as (A)other Gentiles walk, in [e]vanity of their mind.
18 Having their understanding darkened, and being strangers from the [f]life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart:
